How AdCast works

When you order your AdCast system you will receive an AdCast software install CD, an AdCast Bluetooth® 100 meter range aerial and an AdCast manual. Simply install the AdCast software, name the AdCast Bluetooth® aerial, select your created content to sent and click on Start.

AdCast will scan the airwaves for Bluetooth® enabled mobile phones continuously. Once a mobile phone with Bluetooth® switch on is found, the AdCast system will then prompt the mobile phone asking the user if he/she would like to receive your data. In that prompt your name will also appear. If the user of the phone accepts your data then a file of your choice is downloaded to the phone.
AdCast is a proximity based system which uses the world-standard Bluetooth® protocol.

Content delivery rules are created by yourself and are as easy as selecting the starting date and time for broadcasting a selected content and selecting an ending date and time to stop broadcasting your content.

AdCast places you at the forefront of mobile communications. Our recommendation is that you need to create awareness amongst your customers that they have entered a Bluetooth® hotspot. Use a visible call-to-action [poster, screen or flyer] which alerts your customers to look out for the incoming Bluetooth® transmission.

Bluetooth® operates at the 2.45GHz frequency which falls within the IMS band. This is an existing frequency range which has been cleared globally for use with Industrial, Medical and Scientific radio transfer and as such is a well established standard.
